Saturday 18th October saw the Love Withington Baths group hold a Public Meeting to bring the community up to date with the campaign and show the initial plans for the site. Prior to the meeting however, group member, Sian, was up bright up & early (6.30am, in fact!) to do a live interview with BBC Radio Manchester’s Andy Crane - see below, click on image to listen.
The public meeting was packed and attended by young and old, current users and non-users of the facility and councillors, our MP and lay people. A very exciting event, where the plans and ideas were enthusiastically received...
Winners of the Good Neighbour Award 2014, awarded by Cooper Healey of Manchester Student Homes, the university run housing accreditation service and centre in Fallowfield & Withington.
