We are looking for someone who can assist us in the co-ordination of our team of fabulous volunteers, under the direction of an appointed member of our reception team. We need a super-organised people person who can take responsibility for the organisation and management of volunteer events at Withington Baths, such as leaflet drops, DIY days, bulb planting and occasionally helping us to staff events.
We have a database of volunteers and we would like our co-ordinator to rationalise this and grow it, so that management of volunteer days becomes extremely effective. This position would suit someone who is a good communicator, proficient with systems such as Excel and is able to assist us on an ad-hoc basis. Please note that this position is also on a voluntary basis – although we are sure we can sneak you into the swimming pool for the occasional dip!
If you are interested in this position, please email email@example.com explaining how you can help us to create a crack team of volunteers.
We are also looking for someone to assist us with ad hoc maintenance in and around the building, under the direction of our Centre Manager and trustee responsible for overall maintenance. If you are handy with a hammer, proficient with a paint brush, super with a screw driver and a little bit on the green fingered side, you may be just who we are looking for to help us take care of our beautiful Edwardian heritage building. Please note that initially this will be a voluntary position. Days/hours to be determined, although likely to be approximately 4-6 hours per week.
If you are interested in this position, please email firstname.lastname@example.org explaining how you will be able to help us with our general maintenance.
